Before requesting approval for your minor package, please take into consideration the following:
- Do you meet all the necessary boundary conditions needed for starting your minor programme? You can find these conditions in the programme specific annex of the Bachelor Education and Examination Regulations (EER) of your degree programme. One of the conditions is the minimum number of ECs obtained in year 1 (and 2). In the nominal study programme, the minor is located in semester 1 of year 3, but in case this does not match the study plan (e.g. due to a delay) you can also do a minor in the 2nd semester of an academic year (although the options may be less as compared to the 1st semester).
- When is it NOT necessary to request approval for your minor package? In case you will do regular UT modules (join-in minor modules) at other Bachelor UT studies, HTHT minor modules, Educative minor or the Crossing Borders minor. These are all coordinated via the UT central minor office. Please go to the major minor website for the UT minor offer and all the rules that apply to choosing a minor.
- NOTE: these options DO require your registration via the website of the central minor office!
- NOTE2: the exception to the rule is the situation in which the premaster package (XM minor) coincides with the following of regular UT modules (see next point)
- When is it necessary to request approval for your minor package? Below you can find three types of minor packages you need to request approval for:
