UT Team Reaches Final of MOPTA Competition

June 9, 2015.

Once more, a team from the University of Twente made it to the finals of the MOPTA competition. Victor Reijnders, Martijn Schoot Uiterkamp, and Mike Visser, three master students of applied mathematics, developed a model to manage large portfolios of projects under the supervision of Bodo Manthey. They were selected as one of only two teams to participate in the finals of the MOPTA Competition to be held in July as part of the International Optimization Modeling Conference in Bethlehem, PA, USA.
The MOPTA competition is an annual competition on optimization modeling. See the website of the MOPTA competition for more information.
