Australia TES99 was collected from an Australian school in 1999 by Jeff Kingston.
The instance was originally represented in the TTL language, and via KTS converted to XHSTT,
also by Jeff Kingston.
The instance has been changed on March 4, 2016, to solve some inconsistencies in splitting rules of linked events.
Due to this some previously best solutions have been removed, and the infeasibility cost of some remaining best solutions increased.
A summary of the data can be found in the following table:

The following constraints are present:
- Scheduling constraints: AssignResourceConstraint, AssignTimeConstraint, and SplitEventsConstraint.
- Event constraints: DistributeSplitEventsConstraint, PreferResourcesConstraint, AvoidSplitAssignmentsConstraint, SpreadEventsConstraint, and LinkEventsConstraint.
- Resource constraints: AvoidClashesConstraint, AvoidUnavailableTimesConstraint, LimitBusyTimesConstraint, and LimitWorkloadConstraint.
