Luuk won the POLESTAR (Prestigious Original Lustrous Engineering Splendid Teacher Appreciation Reward) award with the theme "Spark to Mars".
He will also compete for the Central Educational Award of the University of Twente.
DMB actually had 3 nominees for Educational Awards:
Doina Bucur (CS), Nacir Bouali (BIT) and Luuk Spreeuwers (EE).
