We are very proud to celebrate the 24 students who presented their final graduation projects on July 3rd, 2026 in Networked Systems and Network Security.
It was our great pleasure to see the research and presentations by our students on various aspects of networked systems, ranging from the adoption of security practices to understanding impact propagation in social networks and how to deploy more sovereign and sustainable networking infrastructures in Europe. This year's best paper award went to Tristan Bottenberg for his paper titled DeltaParq - Using Delta Compression for Efficient Storage of OpenINTEL's Historical DNS Records, supervised by Bernd Meijerink, Rick Fontein, and Roland van Rijswijk-Deij.
Moreover, two students received the best presentation award based on the audience vote:
- Yi Hu – Home or Away? Measuring Anycast Replica Locality in EU ccTLD Authoritative DNS
- Tristan Bottenberg – DeltaParq - Using Delta Compression for Efficient Storage of OpenINTEL's Historical DNS Records
