UT professor Anna Sperotto, ambassador of the Centre for Security and Digitalisation (CVD), highlights in a recent interview the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration for a safe digital society.
In her research, Sperotto focuses on cybersecurity and digital resilience, with a strong emphasis on proactively identifying threats on the internet. By analysing network data, early signals of potential attacks can be detected. This approach not only strengthens digital infrastructures but also helps protect vulnerable groups online.
According to Sperotto, cybersecurity is inherently multidisciplinary. While technological solutions are essential, real progress depends on collaboration across disciplines and the development of a shared understanding.
