Many of you have seen the shiny Prius cars drive around, equipped with Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication capabilities. However appealing, such a proof-of-concept implementation takes a lot of effort - not to mention investment - and poses practical difficulties when researching such issues as scalability and emergency situations.
This is where simulation comes in. In our case, the investment in terms of money was none: DACS already has a compute cluster which we share with SE and FMT. During this talk I will tell more about the Twickel Cluster, how we use it and what it could do for your research.
