EDGE centre internal kick-off

On September 6 the in-house kick-off of EDGE, the center for networked systems and intelligence (utwente.nl/en/edge) was a great success!

Most of our researchers comprising of the three founders (PS, CAES, and DACS) were present during that event. 

EDGE unites close to a hundred researchers from the University of Twente and partners across sectors, driving cutting-edge research in computing, communications, and sensing technologies. During the various sessions there was plenty of opportunities to network (between people!), discuss new research ideas, and have fun. The poster hunt, organized by some of our PhD students, was a great success. Our nice and very relevant posters were studied carefully, and discussed in groups to find the right answers to the questions.

 In another fun session, the researchers formed groups to deliver pitch research proposals in various societal sectors.

The day was good and inspiring, which shows a great potential for a bright future.
