The ambition is to accelerate data-driven healthcare innovation, improve prevention, enable more care at home, and strengthen the region as a leading hub for digital healthcare. The project is delivered through collaboration between hospitals, the University of Twente and Saxion as knowledge institutions, MedTech companies, healthcare innovators, and regional network partners. Three initial use cases focus on post-operative recovery in older adults, heart failure monitoring with decision support, and education and training of healthcare professionals.
ZorgDataPunt is financed through the Regio Deal Twente, with financial support from the Dutch National Government, the Province of Overijssel, the Twente Board and with co-funding from regional partners. The initiative runs through 31 December 2027.
