During the yearly congress of the European Respiratory Society, held in London from 3-7 September, Eline Mos-Oppersma was awarded with an Excellence Grant in Clinical Physiology and Exercise. The award, a certificate and €1500, was granted for the abstract entitled ‘Influence of bicarbonate on ventilatory drive in healthy subjects’.
Since she graduated Technical Medicine, Eline is working on her PhD on ‘Monitoring and regulation of ventilation’ in the MIRA group Biomedical Signals and Systems in close collaboration with the Intensive Care Unit of the Radboudumc in Nijmegen. Besides her research activities, she is a lecturer in the Bachelor and Master program of Technical Medicine.
