Try out your favourite study before making your study choice! Did you get seriously enthusiastic about one of our master's or bachelor's? A selection of our studies offers you the possibility to attend a Taster Day. 

Attending a Taster Day on our campus offers you a unique sneak preview of the study programme of your interest. In a three-hour session, you will follow a deepening programme prepared by your future lecturers and our students, exclusively organised for you and your fellow prospective students. The Taster Day takes place on campus unless otherwise indicated.

Educatie en Communicatie in de Bètawetenschappen (🇳🇱)

Ben je al werkzaam in het onderwijs en wil je nog graag je eerstegraads lesbevoegdheid halen of lesgeven in een ander vak? Of heb je werkervaring in een ander veld en wil je graag overstappen naar het onderwijs? Dan is een zij-instroom traject aan de Universiteit Twente wellicht iets voor jou!

Als zij-instromer behaal je binnen (maximaal) twee jaar je lesbevoegdheid en geef je tegelijkertijd al (betaald) parttime les in het voortgezet onderwijs.

Technical Computer Science

During the Taster Day you get to discover what you will be doing when you study Technical Computer Science. After an explanation of the study programme we will dive deeper into one certain topic in form of a mini-lecture paired with some fun exercise. Next, it's time to put theory into pratice by doing a workshop where you will put your locial thinking to the test. Then we will have lunch together and explore our wonderful campus in an interative tour.

During the Taster Day, you will discover what it is like to study the Bachelor’s in Technology and Liberal Arts and Sciences, or ATLAS in short, at the University College Twente. You will learn more about the programme and work on a real project together with two teachers. You can also opt for a tour around our Campus at 12:45!

What to expect?

The programme of a Taster Day differs per study. In general, it looks as follows:

  • For whom is a Taster Day of interest?

    For bachelor's and master's seekers with a serious interest in a specific study programme. After this experience, you will have a good picture of the studies and you can apply confidently.

    Coming from abroad? If a Taster Day takes place on our campus (and not online), an online meet-up with one of our students is also a great option to get to know the studies you are excites about. Sign up for an online meet-up!

  • When does a Taster Day take place?

    Taster Days are organised at various times throughout the year. Check the overview to see on which dates the studies of your interest organise a Taster Day. 

Is your favourite study not listed?
