At the University of Twente, studying is about More Than A Degree. This year, the Student Union is proud to have contributed to making that vision one step closer to reality, by integrating More Than A Degree into the long-term policy of the university.
What does that mean for you?
This ensures that extracurricular engagement is not seen as “extra” but as an essential part of student development. This means:
- more flexibility in education
- greater recognition and appreciation of extracurricular efforts
- more inclusive and accessible engagement
For example, by making financial barriers smaller and making engagement more accessible to international students.
By this we further shape the environment where students don’t just study, but develop into people who make a difference. Do you have any ideas on how the university could make student engagement more inclusive and accessible? Please email your suggestions to Mina Todorovska.
Want to be part of the next Student Union board?
As the Student Union board year is coming to an end, the SU is looking for students who are eager to take over. Do you want to take the next step and shape the future of student life at the UT?
Check the SU-website for more information, e-mail Mina Todorovska or drop by our office at the Bastille (room 322).
