UT will start the tender process for its Learning Management System (LMS). It’s the system (currently Canvas) we use every day for courses, assignments, feedback and communication.
Because the LMS affects all of us (students, lecturers and support staff), we want to involve the UT community in the process. Not through endless meetings, but in a practical and manageable way.
Join the sounding board
We are setting up a sounding board to advise the project team during the tender. We are looking for around 30 people from across UT: students, lecturers, study advisers and e-learning specialists.
The idea is simple. At certain moments in the process (roughly once every two months), we will invite you to contribute. That could be joining a workshop, reviewing draft requirements, filling out a short survey or attending a supplier demo.
The group does not make formal decisions, but your feedback will be used to test assumptions, sharpen requirements and evaluate potential suppliers. When suppliers demonstrate their systems, your assessment will explicitly be part of the evaluation.
First: lunch workshops in March
We will start with a series of lunch workshops in March. These sessions are meant to gather input early on and discuss what really matters in an LMS. The exact topics are being finalised by the project team.
Date for students: Thursday 19 March (12:00-13:00h)
You can sign up for the sounding board and immediately register for one of the lunch workshops via the registration form on the LMS tender page.
