Crowdtech Survey now live: explore the possibilities for your research

FROM 1 SEPTEMBER 2025, THE UNIVERSITY OF TWENTE WILL BE USING CROWDTECH AS THE CENTRAL PLATFORM FOR CONDUCTING SURVEYS.

Crowdtech offers a secure and efficient way to distribute questionnaires. All data and processing take place in the Netherlands. The platform is suitable for course evaluations (SEQs), research-related questionnaires, and other UT-wide surveys – and is accessible to both staff and students.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

From 1 September, you can use Crowdtech for all your new surveys. Do you still have ongoing questionnaires in another tool, or are you working on research that runs over a longer period of time? Then first check the Service Portal for more information and guidelines. If you cannot find what you need or have additional questions, please contact survey-support@utwente.nl 

INSTRUCTION AND TRAINING NEEDED?

Since Crowdtech is available to all staff and students, you can get started right away. If you would like some extra guidance or tips, several (online) training sessions are available. On the Service Portal you will find the full overview, including useful templates with sample questions to help you get started quickly.

A strong survey depends on the quality of the questions and how you apply them. On the Learning & Teaching Portal you will find practical tips for creating effective evaluations that truly provide valuable insights.
