Crowds expected around FC Twente football match

Tomorrow, Thursday 9 February, FC Twente will play a home match in the Grolsch Veste in the cup tournament in front of a sold-out crowd. As always, visitors to the match can park on the UT parking lots. Shuttle buses will bring the fans to the stadium.

Due to the early kick-off time, the match starts at 18:45, and the fact that public transport is on strike, we expect extreme crowds on and around the university campus. The campus is expected to be very crowded from around 16:00, and you should expect considerable delays on the roads to and from the campus as well. If necessary, adjust your travel time if you need to get to campus in the afternoon, or want to go home after your visit to UT. If possible, go by bike to avoid being inconvenienced by traffic.

Crowds are expected again after the match. The match will last until 20:30, or possibly half an hour or three-quarters of an hour later if extra time has to be played.
