Weather warning for Monday 15 February: code red

For tomorrow, Monday 15 February, the KNMI (the Dutch meteorological institute) issued a ‘code red’ weather warning for the whole country due to slipperiness and black ice. Educational activities scheduled on campus - other than exams - before 1 pm will be cancelled. University of Twente buildings will remain open.

Please keep in mind that there may be force majeure with the people from security or facility services who have to open the buildings, so buildings might be opened later. Of course, we are already in a situation where we mostly study and work at home.

The university advises staff and students even more emphatically to only come to campus tomorrow when strictly necessary. Students and staff are also advised to keep themselves well informed through the university’s information channels (website & social media).

Code red weather warning
