International Mobility for Spring 2021

As a university, we continue to embrace international exchange as a valuable aspect of studying. Inbound and outbound international mobility will be facilitated within the UT stance for Spring 2021 and we will do our best to accommodate this within bounds.

The UT stance is derived from the travel guidelines as applied by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is valid for all students and staff of the university. Thus, mobility to green and yellow countries and regions are allowed. For yellow countries and regions, travel is in any case with caution. The UT does not allow nor support international mobility to orange and red marked countries and regions.

Students with mobility plans are urged to regularly check the BuZa website, read up on and be aware of any (financial) consequences and risks that go with this uncertainty. We strongly advise you to consider an alternative study component at the UT, as mobility may not be possible.

More information on the financial consequences (for instance a scholarship application) on travel for mobility purposes can be found on the UT's Study Abroad website and its FAQ. Students are also very welcome to ask any questions in this regard to their respective mobility coordinators in their faculty.
