Introduction
To set up Multi-Factor Authentication using text messages follow the steps described in this manual.
Before you start
- The manual is written for employees and UT guests only.
- You need a mobile phone with the ability to receive text messages (SMS).
- This manual uses a consistent style of writing: references to text and buttons on screens are printed in italics, information that you have to enter yourself is printed in bold.
Set up multi-factor authentication
Open the application for which Multi Factor Authentication is enabled. Log in with your UT e-mail address and password. Next you will see the following message:
Click Next.
Select I want to set up a different method.
Choose Phone in the dropdown menu and select Confirm.
Select your country code and enter your mobile phone number. Select Text me a code and click Next.
Enter the code sent to your mobile phone and click Next.
Click Next.
Click Done to continue signing in.
