Do you want to prepare for going to Japan to do study abroad, internship abroad, or graduation project? Are you just interested in Japanese history, language and culture?
All students are welcome at this one-day workshop, after which you will have: an overview of how modern Japan came into being, an insight into the language and customs, and an understadning of how 'ultra modern Japan' has its roots in a highly structured, traditional society. You will also get a basic introduction to Japanese language.
The workshop is a combination of interactive discussion and presentation. It will include examples of Japanese arts and extracts from Japanese movies and documentaries.
7 hours including a lunch break.
All students with an interest in Japanese history, language, religion, and culture. Particularly useful for students going on exchange.
