In today's fast-paced world, the ability to effectively communicate your research is essential for engaging your audience and increasing the reach and impact of your work. It could be: your bachelor, master, or PhD thesis, or a proposal or project outside of your studies.
Join our Popular Writing workshop, where trainer Frank Nuijens, with over 25 years of experience in science communication, will guide you through a five-step writing process that will help you craft a clear and effective popular science text that you can apply in your work and studies.
Preparation: During this workshop you will work on your own article. So think about a topic that you want to practise with. Ideally it would be your bachelor or master project, but you can choose a hobby topic. As long as you have enough background knowledge about the topic and are passionate about it!
This workshop consists of one evening session of two hours.
Language of Instruction can be English or Dutch depending on the group. Materials are in English, and designed for communicating in English.
All students with an interest in learning how to communicate complex (scientific) information to a non-technical audience in writing.
