"I think the EngD enables me to experience a smooth transition from being a student to becoming an engineer. The environment gives me the possibility to further develop my personality and skills as well as gain experience in working at a company.
At the university, people treat me in the same way as a PhD student. In general, I have weekly meetings with my supervisor, where we discuss my work in detail. There are also monthly meetings with the professor. Besides that, there are regular meetings with people from the company as well. Overall, I’m really happy with how these things work out.
The EngD programme in Energy & Process Technology gives you the possibility to start your career at a place where you have all resources to develop yourself further. I guess much better than if you work at a company."
