The PhD programme encompasses the second through sixth year of the Learning in Educational and Training Settings programme.

During the first year of the PhD track students have a choice of courses from three recognized National Research Schools: Interuniversity Center for Educational Sciences (ICO), Interuniversity Graduate School of Psychometrics and Sociometrics (IOPS), and the Kurt Lewin Institute; during PhD1 students are engaged in courses with a total investment of 20 credits.
