CENTRE FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT (CTD)
At the UT inspirational education, groundbreaking research and relevant innovation are key factors for success. Over 3000 researchers and professional staff are responsible for this. Since the UT is part of an international academic environment where changes take place in quick succession, it is very important that employees continue to develop themselves. For PhD candidates the primary goal is for them to expand their academic skills, especially in writing an excellent thesis. For Postdocs it is important that they become competent in modern academic skills, such as writing a refereed publication. In order to meet these needs for professional development the UT has a wide range of training possibilities for both PhD candidates and Postdocs.
The courses you can take at the Centre for Training and Development fall into five categories:
- Research Support
- Career Development
- Language and Communication Skills
- Personal Effectiveness
