The programme structure Systems Control has four specialisations:
Biomechatronics focuses on the application of control in biomedical engineering.
The specialisation Control Theory focuses on the need for a theoretical underpinning for the design of control systems.
Research activities in the specialisation Robotics and Mechatronics have an increasing focus on the field of advanced robotics, including robotics in medical applications.
In recent years Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have amply demonstrated their value and attractiveness. The specialisation in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles is an interdisciplinary study focused on the further development of UAVs and UAV-based services.
