Four research groups at the University of Twente participate in the Master’s programme in Public Administration:
The department of Public Administration (PA) is responsible for research and education in the areas of Public Administration, European Studies and Public Management and Policy. It approaches these issues from a multilevel perspective, focusing on the relationship between sub-national, national, European and global levels of governance.
Centre for Higher Education Policy Studies
The Centre for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) seeks to increase our understanding of institutional, national and international issues that have a bearing on higher education. The Centre’s research and education is especially focused on system and institutional levels.
Department of science, technology and policy studies
The Department of science, technology and policy studies (STePS) takes the assessment and governance of innovations and emerging technologies as the central theme of its teaching and research. STePS has a particular focus on multidisciplinary strategic issues, i.e. those which involve developments in science, technology, politics and society, as well as the interaction between them.
Twente Centre for Studies in Technology and Sustainable Development
The Twente Centre for Studies in Technology and Sustainable Development (CSTM) conducts and applies innovative research for the benefit of society. We specialize in governance, with an emphasis on sustainable development, environmental quality, and technological innovation, from the perspectives of both developed and developing countries.
