Study association Scintilla

We encourage you to lead an active student life by joining our study association.

E.T.S.V. Scintilla is the study association for the Master’s programmes in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, and Robotics. Its primary goal is to help you during your student life by organising extracurricular activities, building a students’ community, and sharing career opportunities.

Why should I join?

  • The association organises a lot of fun social activities: for example, study nights, lunch lectures, excursions, and the annual EEMCS trip to a European city.
  • You get a discount on books and study materials when you buy them via the association. Also, there is an inexhaustible supply of pens and notebooks in the association room. This way, you earn back your contribution money in no time.

You are more than welcome to join one of our committees and help us organise all kinds of activities. We guarantee you: this experience will enrich your student life!

DEVELOP YOUR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

At UT, we train you to be the global citizen of tomorrow. Education alone is not enough, being active both in and outside of the classroom boosts your personal development. Our students regularly organise exciting activities and events on campus and in the nearby city of Enschede. They learn to collaborate with students and professionals from other disciplines and from different backgrounds. These experiences are invaluable in helping students develop useful skills that will serve them well in their future careers.
