Improve learning in schools and organisations with the latest educational insights.
Education is a key factor in growth and progress in society. But what motivates people to learn? And what role can technology play in this? In the Master’s programme in Educational Science & Technology, you learn how to help people of all ages with learning and development. This could include, for example, supporting the professional development of employees or improving education in primary schools.
During your courses, you will regularly work with organisations from the professional field, giving you the opportunity to put your knowledge and skills directly into practice. For example, you might develop open online learning materials for a secondary school lesson or design instructions for new machines or systems within a company.
Throughout the programme, you will also work on your personal development. You will speak with professionals in the field, explore your career opportunities after your Master’s in Educational Science & Technology and discover the possibilities available to you as an educational scientist.
At the University of Twente, you study Educational Science & Technology at an entrepreneurial, technical university. You do not need to have a technical background. Instead, you will learn how technology can help advance education. For example, through the use of AI in education or educational apps. This means you will take courses alongside students from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
Within the Master’s programme, you will take a number of compulsory courses. In addition, you can choose from a range of courses that match your interests. This allows you to focus on Learning in education, Learning and Development in Organisations, or a combination of the two.
