Expand your knowledge and skills in our double degree together with the Westfälische Wilhems-Universität in Münster, Germany.
As a student of the Master’s in Business Information Technology you have the opportunity to follow a double degree programme, that we offer together with our partner university, the Westfälische Wilhems-Universität in Münster, Germany (WWU). In this two-year programme, you will focus on business analytics and data science. You will get the best of both universities and get acquainted with the Dutch-German border area Euregio. Upon completion, you will receive two Master’s degrees:
- Master of Science in Business Information Technology (UT)
- Master of Science in Information Systems (WWU)
Structure
The double degree programme entails a total of two years (four semesters) and starts in September. Starting this double degree at the University of Twente, you will take almost all core courses of the Master’s in Business Information Technology and additionally specialise in analytics, data science and business courses. In the second part of the second semester, you will continue your double degree in Münster. There, you will spend the rest of the second and third semester following courses such as Network Economics, Data Analytics and Management Information Systems and Data Warehousing. The double degree programme ends with your master’s thesis. You will write this under the joint supervision of professors from both universities.
How to apply
If you are interested in following this double degree programme, starting at the University of Twente, you first need to apply for the Master’s in Business Information Technology at UT (make sure to check if you are admissible!). Once you are admitted to this Master’s, you will get further instructions via e-mail for applying for the double degree. Please note that the number of students who can opt for this double degree is limited to ten students. Selection is based on your previous grades and motivation. Please note that you can only start this double degree in September.
