As a Bachelor’s student from a university of applied sciences (HBO), you can apply for admission to both one and two-year Master’s programmes. In order to gain and/or improve the knowledge and skills needed to start a Master’s programme, it is often necessary to follow an additional pre-Master’s programme that you have to complete successfully in order to gain admission to the Master’s programme. Admission to a Master’s or pre-Master’s programme largely depends on your previous academic results and study programme.
If you have a certificate from a related Bachelor’s programme at a University of Applied Sciences (HBO), you may be considered for admission to the pre-Master’s in Business Information Technology. Applications are assessed on an individual basis. The programme is normally worth 30 credits. Students can enrol in September.
You qualify for admission if you satisfy the the following conditions:
- You graduated from a related degree programme. Related programmes are:
Bedrijfskundige Informatica, Technische Informatica, Informatica;
- Positive assessment of your English-language letter of application (part of the application form);
- You have completed Mathematics B and English at pre-university level
- Your grades are above average.
You will be offered a 30EC premaster’s programme is if you have a background containing a substantial computer science component. If your background is business administration/industrial engineering, a 45EC premaster’s programme may be offered, if according to the admission committee a successful outcome of this programme is probable.
If you do not satisfy the requisite level in Mathematics or English, you may be able to take a course at your own HBO institution. Check the admission requirements site for more options.
Please follow the application instructions.
