Expand your knowledge and skills within HRM with a deeper understanding of economics and finance at the University of L’Aquila, Italy.
As a student of the Master’s in BA, with the specialisation in Human Resource Management, you have the opportunity to follow a double degree, that we offer together with our partner university, the University of L’Aquila (UA) in Italy. In this two-year programme, you will extend your specialised knowledge within the field of HRM with broader expertise in the Business Administration domain. Upon completion, you receive two Master’s degrees:
- Master of Science in Business Administration, specialisation in Human Resource Management (UT)
- Master of Science in Business Administration, Economics and Finance (major in Management) (UA)
The double degree programme entails a total of two years (four semesters). You will spend two semesters at UT and two semesters in Italy. Because the programme in Italy starts in September, you ideally start your Master’s in Business Administration at UT in February. Then, you can continue the second and third semester at the University of L’Aquila, and eventually, finish your fourth semester at UT.
However, you can also start at UT in September, allowing you to customise your programme. For example, you could start your thesis earlier (in the second semester), before going to Italy in September. Or you could use this space to undertake other (extracurricular) activities. This way, it will take you longer than two years to graduate.
Next to the courses belonging to this specialisation, you will follow courses in Italy, such as Applied International Economics, Leadership Skills, International Labour Law and Labour Economics. You also have the opportunity to learn the Italian Language (level A1 and A2).
You will end your double degree programme by writing your master’s thesis. You will do this under the joint supervision of professors from both universities. You will defend your final thesis at UT.
