Double degree

Do you want to expand your knowledge and skills within SMS with broader expertise in international marketing management? Then our double degree, which we offer together with the Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland, might be just what you are looking for! In this two-year programme, you will extend your specialised knowledge within the field of SMS with a deeper understanding of marketing in an international context. Upon completion, you will receive two Master’s degrees:

• Master of Science in Business Administration, specialisation in Strategic Marketing & Servitisation (UT)
• Master of Science in International Marketing Management (LUT)

STRUCTURE

The double degree programme starts in September. You will spend the first semester (six months) at UT. Then, in January, you will continue your studies in Finland for one year. After that, you will finish the double degree programme at UT by writing your master’s thesis.

Alongside the courses taught by the UT Master’s in Business Administration SMS specialisation, you will follow courses in Finland, such as Strategic Global Marketing Management, Sustainable Strategy, or Marketing of High Technology Innovations.

GET AN IMAGE OF DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES AT THE LAPPEENRANTA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY IN FINLAND

In this 1.5-year programme, you will extend your specialised knowledge within Strategic Marketing & Servitisation with a deeper understanding of digital marketing. You will learn to understand the most innovative technologies and acquire skills to manage upcoming technological disruptions in marketing. Upon completion, you will receive two Master’s degrees:

• Master of Science in Business Administration (UT)
• Master of Science in Communication Science (UT)

STRUCTURE

You can complete this double degree within just 1.5 years – instead of the 2 years that apply to these two separate programmes. You will follow courses related to both Business Administration and Communication Science, for example, Entrepreneurial Leadership & Responsible Design, E-Commerce, Advanced Topics in Digital Marketing and Data Science. Moreover, you will still have the freedom to fill up your study programme with elective courses that interest you. The double degree culminates in a combined master’s thesis. Note: you can start this double degree in September or February.
