Two research groups participate in the Master’s programme in Business Administration:
The Business Administration (BA) group focuses on research, education and technology transfer in the following areas:
- Change Management & Organizational Behaviour (CMOB)
- Finance & Accounting (F&A)
- Human Resource Management (HRM)
- Technology Management and Supply (TMS)
The NIKOS group focuses on the following areas:
- Innovative Entrepreneurship
- Marketing & Strategy
- International Management
- Organisation Studies & Innovation.
The Department Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems (IEBIS) focuses on the logistics, healthcare and services sector. There is a special interest in decision support systems and inter-organizational systems connecting networks of businesses and governments. The department studies novel ways of organizing networks such as dynamic global sourcing and multi-agent coordination, and applies quantitative models and algorithmic approaches, simulation and gaming, ICT architecture and business modelling and prototyping to create and evaluate innovative concepts.
The Twente Graduate School (TGS) offers high-quality educational programmes based on subjects closely related to the work of the university’s research institutes and taught and supervised by expert researchers from these same institutes. It offers an increasing variety of integrated Master’s and PhD programmes for outstanding graduate students who are keen to pursue a career in scientific research. The TGS programme associated with the Master’s programme in Business Administration is Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
