Deadlines For Dutch students

For most of our Master’s programmes there is the opportunity to enroll either in February or in September. Check the website of the Master’s programme of your choice for more information about the starting date(s).

Dutch students who have completed a HBO/university degree

The following deadlines apply to students with a Dutch nationality and with a Dutch HBO or WO degree. Please be aware that the intake moments has two different application deadlines depending on the Master’s programme of your choice.

 * Please be aware that the application will not be finished as long as the final certified photocopies are not provided. The sooner the documents are provided the sooner your application file will be completed.

Dutch Students with a specific programme

Students with a finished transferminor or a completed subsidiary subject
("doorstroomminorstudenten/bijvakkers")

Deadline for completion of the application and all required uploads are mentioned by the topic 'Dutch students who have completed a HBO/University degree'. 

Students with a not finished bachelor who wants to use their minor space to transfer

Deadline for completion of the application:

  • Start September: 30 June
  • Start February: 31 December

External students have to make sure that the learning agreement, agreed upon by their examination board, is in the hands of the UT contact person before the end of the subscription period.

Dutch students with an international diploma

Students with a Dutch nationality and with an international (foreign) diploma from outside the Netherlands have to meet the deadlines that apply to the European (non-visa) students. Please see this webpage for the specific deadlines.

Students with a European or Dutch residence permit

International students in possession of a residence permit for one of the European Economic (EER) or the Netherlands have to meet the visa student deadlines. For example if you have a Mexican nationality and hold a Dutch residence permit, your nationality is Mexican (not Dutch) so the visa students deadlines apply to you. Please see this webpage for the specific deadlines.
