Pick-up Service & University introduction

To make your arrival in the Netherlands as comfortable as possible, the University of Twente offers a pick-up service prior to the start of the University's introduction period (called the 'Kick-In').

Pick-up service

When you arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, you can make use of the UT airport pick-up service. In close cooperation with the organising committee of the Kick-In and the Erasmus Student Network, the UT will pick you up at the airport and will join you on your way to Enschede. Would you like to make use of this service? Keep close track of the communication from the Kick-In organising committee to sign up for the service.

Coming to Enschede without using the pick-up service? No problem! But make sure you plan your journey ahead of your arrival on 9292ov.

University Introduction (Kick-In)

The Kick-In is the University's introduction for all new UT students. During the introduction, you will meet your fellow students and get to know Enschede and the UT campus. The UT will also help you arrange formalities like formal university registration and first steps towards registration at the municipality of Enschede during the formality market.

Check out the Kick-In Video:

If you have been accepted by the UT you will be personally invited for the introduction days for international students. For more information, please visit the Kick-In website. Please note that your attendance during the Kick-In is highly recommended, and that your attendance at the formality market is mandatory. Non-attendance will delay the completion of formalities needed to properly start your studies.
