Are you interested in abroad activities outside of your curriculum?
As a UT student, you’ve got tons of exciting options to explore the world for a few days or weeks outside of your official study programme!
Think international study tours, summer schools, or even an ECIU Challenge abroad. These short trips are perfect if you’re curious about new cultures, eager to live somewhere different for a bit, and want to pick up new language skills along the way.
It’s a fun, flexible way to broaden your horizons and add some international flavour to your university experience!
Registration in Mobility Online is necessary for the emergency abroad service and to access the UT student liability & travel insurance. To find out more, visit What to Arrange.
Many study associations organise annual study tours. A study tour usually lasts about a month and can be part of your minor programme when combined with extra subjects.
In some cases, but not all, it may be possible to get credits towards your degree. You usually need to cover the costs yourself. Contact your study association for more information.
There are a variety of summer and winter schools on offer at UT’s partner universities around the world. You can participate in interesting programmes with a mix of academic, cultural and social activities.
Sometimes you can get credits towards your degree - discuss this with your study programme first to check the possibilities. You will need to cover the costs of the activity yourself. In some cases, as a UT student, you may be eligible for a discount for a summer or winter school.
Below you can view some of the options at UT's partner universities:
Please note: this is not a complete list!
You can find information about summer or winter schools on the websites of the partner universities, and their newsletter or social media. Also join your faculty’s Study Abroad Canvas page to receive announcements about upcoming opportunities.
If you need supporting documents or information about discounts for UT students at a summer or winter school, contact your Faculty Exchange Coordinator.
