Research project

If you would like to do a traineeship, internship, research work, thesis assignment, or a graduation assignment, you can opt for a research project (placement). This means that you can perform a placement period at one of the research groups at the University of Twente. 

What is a placement student?

You are a placement student if:

• You are only going to do a project at one of our UT research groups (no courses). 
• You are going to do a project with a minimum stay of 2 months and a maximum stay of 12 months.
• You are a Bachelor or Master student from a foreign university.
• You are enrolled at a foreign university during your entire placement at UT. 
• You are going to receive ECTS and a grade (see course codes) for your project from the research group.
