THIS TALK IS PART OF A SECOND SET OF LECTURES FROM AN INTERNATIONAL GROUP OF EXPERTS FROM INDUSTRY AND RESEARCH ON SUSTAINABLE OCEANS. THESE EXPERTS ARE SUPPORTING OUR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS IN THE EXPLORATION OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN MARINE BIOTECHNOLOGY, MARITIME TRANSPORTATION AND OCEAN-RENEWABLE ENERGIES.  DR. ANTONIA LEROY WILL PROVIDE AN NGO PERSPECTIVE AND SHARE INFORMATION ON THE ROLE OF NGOS IN TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENTS.

Dr Antonia Leroy, Head of Ocean Policy at WWF European Policy Office, leads the implementation of WWF’s objectives to secure healthy ocean ecosystems and sustainable fisheries at EU level.
