Admission requirements

Have you decided to sign up for the Bachelor’s programme Public Administration (Management, Society and Technology)? Check the admission requirements below to be sure that your application will succeed. You can sign up via Studielink.

Admission requirements BSc Public Administration (Management, Society & Technology)

International diploma

You are admissible if you have an international secondary school diploma equivalent to the Dutch vwo diploma. For example:

  • Belgium’s Diploma van Secundair Onderwijs
  • International or European Baccalaureate.

German Abitur

Have you completed your final exams in Germany and do you hold the Abitur? Then you are generally eligible for admission. Check the admission requirements for this Bachelor's programme.

Dutch Diploma (VWO)

If you have a Dutch vwo diploma, you can be admitted to the Bachelor's programme. All profiles are accepted. 

Dutch HBO-diploma

A higher professional education (HBO) diploma or first-year certificate (propedeuse) also gives you access to the Bachelor's programme in Public Administration. You must have sufficient mathematics or statistics as part of your secondary education or HBO first-year programme.

If you did not study mathematics or statistics during either your secondary education or your first year of HBO, you must first complete a mathematics course to prepare you for the programme.

Level of English

As the programme is entirely taught in English, you must meet the English language requirements. The specific requirements depend on your previous education. Please check the language requirements for international students.
