Would you like to do something extra in addition to your studies? Or are you looking for more challenge within the programme? If you are, the International Business Administration programme offers you several possibilities, including a university-wide excellence programmes and a programme-specific excellence programme.
HOW DOES THE STAR PROGRAMME WORK?
Our so-called STAR programme offers you the option of taking on an extra challenge during your studies. As a STAR student, you will take the same module other students are taking, only you will be given a more challenging assignment. Your eligibility for this programme depends on your marks and competencies. With every module you take in STAR programme, you can earn one star, up to a maximum of five. Your stars will be mentioned on your diploma supplement.
WHAT DOES THE STAR PROGRAMME INVOLVE?
Opting for the STAR programme within a certain module does not mean you will have far more work to do than other students. The workload involved in your STAR activities equals about 15 ECs per module. In most cases, the main difference is that as a STAR student you will be given a more challenging assignment than the other students. In Module 2 of the STAR programme you will work on your leadership skills. In Module 5 you will draw up a marketing plan for a business that needs to develop a strategy for marketing new technologies. In Module 6 will you set up a project in order to participate in the Global INTEL Challenge.
WHO IS THE STAR PROGRAMME FOR?
The STAR programme is for students who are seeking an extra challenge and are eager to join forces with other, highly motivated students. The programme can accommodate around 10% of our students per module. All students can apply for admission in the first module. If you do not want to join the STA programme right away, you can also apply at a later stage.
