Industrial designers who have obtained their BSc can start working in a wide range of sectors. A lot of graduates also develop their specialism further by following our Master’s programme in Industrial Design Engineering.
After completing the broadly-based Bachelor’s programme, you can progress to the Master’s programme in industrial design, which is given in English:

In this course you can improve your skills in a number of different specializations. You can do this at the University of Twente or at other Dutch or foreign universities. The Master’s programme lasts two years and is entirely in English. If you take the Master’s programme in Industrial Design Engineering, you can choose between the following specializations:
DESIGN & STYLING
The Design & Styling specialization focuses on form design and on using evolutionary product development to progress to the next logical product phase.
MANAGEMENT OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
This specialization focuses on effectively managing the product development process and on communicating with various target groups such as customers and suppliers.
EMERGING TECHNOLOGY DESIGN
The Emerging Technology Design specialist field focuses on introducing new technologies onto the consumer market.
