There is a lot of demand for civil engineers who have graduated from Twente. This is mainly thanks to the solid and unique combination of engineering and management.
The curriculum focuses a lot on the non-engineering aspects that play a role in designing, building and making use of infrastructure. If you are not just interested in detailed construction problems, but you want to work in Civil Engineering from a broader perspective, then Twente is the place for you.
Another unique characteristic of the University of Twente's Bachelor programme Civil Engineering is our project-based education. The goal of this model is that you apply the theoretical knowledge you have gained in the lectures in important and realistic projects. You work on each project with four to eight other students and the project is always part of a larger module.
