Apply for Applied Physics

You can apply from October if you want to start the programme in September of the following year. Check the admission requirements to make sure you are eligible. Also, check the enrolment deadlines, these vary depending on your programme, nationality, and qualifications.

Once your registration is processed, Student Services will email you with the next steps.

Study choice check BSc Applied Physics

It is important to choose a programme that suits you well, so that you can successfully complete your studies. The study choice check is one of the tools we use to help you with this. If you have applied for Applied Physics via Studielink, we will invite you to take part in the study choice check. Participation is voluntary, not compulsory, and consists of:

• An online questionnaire: this helps you assess whether you have the right information and expectations about the programme and whether it is the right fit for you. You can complete the questionnaire and return it to the study adviser.
• An individual meeting: if you would like one, or if we feel it would be helpful, our study adviser will arrange a date with you for an individual meeting. During this meeting, you will discuss your answers to the questionnaire. The adviser will also check whether you have previously taken part in activities, such as an Open Day or a Student for a Day.

Your right to a study choice check

If you are applying for the first time via Studielink before 1 May for a bachelor’s programme (without a selection procedure) at a university or university of applied sciences in the Netherlands, you are entitled to a study choice check.

If you apply after 1 May, you are no longer legally entitled to a study choice check. However, despite this legal requirement, we are still here to support you after this date and are happy to help you make the right study choice through the study choice check mentioned above.
