Education Day 2016: the student of the future

What does the student of the future look like? How do we support the development of our students into 21st century professionals and researchers? What is expected from them when they start working? This year the Education Day was all about the questions that form the basis for our Bachelor as well as Master programmes.

The day started with a lunch and poster market at the Foyer of the Waaier.

After lunch Mirjam Bult, Executive Board member opened the Education Day with a debate. She introduced the panel members: . With a nice touch of the catchbox (the throwing microphone) the debate between students, lectures and businessman discussed several statements about the student and the education of the future.

During the two workshop rounds visitors could choose from 5 different workshops. The workshops were inspirational and theoretical to enlarge the view of many participants. The presentations of these workshops are available online.

As a tradition; we ended the day with drinks in the Foyer. Visitors looked back on a great day and so do we. Hopefully we will see you next year at Education Day 2017! If you wish to look through the pictures taken, click here.
