| 6G FUTURE NETWORK SERVICES (FNS) PROGRAM LINE 2 (INTELLIGENT NETWORKS) AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TWENTE |
6G FNS, supported by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK) in the Third Round of the Dutch National Growth Fund, aims at building a strategic and leading position in the development and application of 6G networks for unlocking the innovation potential of the Dutch industry, contributing to the European pre-standardization efforts, and training the next generation of engineers and researchers.
The program consists of four programme lines:
- PL1: Intelligent components
- PL2: Intelligent networks
- PL3: Leading applications
- PL4: Strengthen ecosystems.
As EDGE, we are involved in PL2 and we leverage our expertise in communication, sensing, and computing systems to contribute to 6G FNS in designing and developing solutions for 6G networks that will act as an infrastructure delivering sensing, computing, and communication services. Meanwhile, our EEMCS colleagues at RS and ICD are contributing to PL1.
