DesignLab is an experimental collaborative eco-system for innovative changemakers that connects Society, technology, science and Design. To ensure we are using DesignLab to enable this, we would like to be of an added value to your gathering. This could mean a whole lot of different things, so please be mindful and take your time to think how you can connect with us.

Dates are important to look at. We want to remind you DesignLab is a collaborative eco-system, we not only look at your gathering, but also look at other gatherings that may be of value to connect to while you are around. 

Available equipment: fabrics, cutting tools, pinning tools, pattern-making tools, two Pfaff home sewing machines, Husqvarna Viking sewing machine (Sewing 1 required), Juki industrial sewing machine (Sewing 1 & 2 / mWorkshop required).

You may use up to 200 g of filament for free per project. Additional filament must be paid for.

As we feel it’s important to have a space that feels safe for everyone we would like to look at the capacity together.

Every gathering has a goal and we would like to explore how we can continue to work on your accomplished session.

PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA

 DesignLab would love to promote your event on our social media and, where possible, offers a free photographer for your event!

 Please note that photographer availability is not guaranteed and depends on availability at the time of your event. If a photographer is available, they will stop by for approximately 10 minutes and share a selection of the best photos with you afterwards. If you would like more photos, please contact us to discuss what is possible.

 If you agree to have a photographer visit, we kindly ask you to include the attached slide in your presentation to inform participants and ask for their consent.

 If there are people who prefer not to be photographed, we have stickers available that they can wear on their clothing. This allows the photographer to easily identify who should and should not be included in the photos.

 Social media promotion

If you are promoting your event on Instagram or other social media, feel free to share your account or event details with us. We would be happy to tag your account when we feature your event in our monthly recap, so you can easily share the post on your own stories or social media as well.
