Our spaces are designed to trigger innovative thinking, stimulate collaboration, have fun, embrace multiple perspectives and make futures tangible. See how our multi-purpose rooms are utilised for education, research, (business) projects, and the ever-so-necessary brain relaxation.

To receive more information or get an impression of what DesignLab does, you can always stop by during our opening hours. Look for the DesignLab DreamTeamers (the awesome people in the green t-shirts). They are really excited to show people around, so if you would like a tour of the DesignLab (as a company or just because you are interested in what is happening here), please fill out the form here.

To ensure a successful reservation, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s never just a matter of securing a spot. When you want to make a reservation at DesignLab you are seeking to cooperate, connect or co-create with us.

And before setting up that collaboration, we invite you to learn more about what we do and how we can collaborate. For instance, DesignLab has a unique Responsible Futuring approach in working. This fundamental research approach helps us create communities and a valuable way of co-shaping the futures we want to live in.

While we would love to take on every project simultaneously, DesignLab focuses on UT's impact domains.

Please note that creating this experience for you takes time from our end. As a result, we kindly request a minimum of 7 working days' notice from the date of your booking.

House rules

• Treat our DreamTeam and staff with respect, as they have the final say
• Handle equipment, furniture, materials, and our spaces with care
• Return materials and tools after use
• Tidy up after yourself and use the designated recycling bins
• Check time schedules and respect allocated times
• Foster collaboration and mutual respect
• Value diverse perspectives and backgrounds
• If unsure about tools or equipment, ask for help
• Always wear your Safety Badge in the workshops
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• If you order catering, use the designated area for it: LOUNGE
• Report unsafe conditions to DreamTeam or staff immediately
• Be mindful of data privacy - Do not share personal information of staff, visitors, or fellow users without consent
