DesignLab supports both academic and personal development and encourages an entrepreneurial spirit. During Tuesday evenings, students, researchers, and employees can now not only work on their projects in DesignLab itself but in both the workshops as well! Here you can use all different kinds of tools and machines, from soldering irons to 3D-printer and laser cutter. The DreamTeam members of DesignLab will provide technical support from 7pm to 11pm. Participation is free, and only the used materials will be charged.
Everybody is invited and encouraged to come work on some great idea that you came up with or something simple you just want to try out. Great initiatives like AER and RoboTeam have used the DesignLab facilities to realize their ideas! But of course, you are also free to work on study- or research-related projects. Makers Night @DesignLab supports the exploration and deepening of personal interests while learning, sharing and improving skills.
