Starting November 3rd, LinkedIn will be updating its terms and conditions for EU residents.
These new terms and conditions state that LinkedIn may use your data to train artificial intelligence (AI) and may also share this data with third parties.
If you don't want this, you can object. You can do so until November 3rd. You can always withdraw your consent later, but data that has already been used will remain part of LinkedIn's AI systems and those of its partners.
You can withdraw your consent through LinkedIn's settings.
The University recommends doing so.
You can find more information in LinkedIn's update overview and their FAQ.
