Scam email

On 2 May 2019, a criminal attempted to inform employees of the university by e-mail.

It started with a simple email that was supposed to come from Thom Palstra. Only a Gmail address was used.

Are you available?

Those who responded received a request to purchase iTunes vouchers and to send the information on the card to the criminal.

The criminal's e-mail address is blocked, but this person may try again with a different address. So be careful with mail that does not come from the regular address. Never transfer money and never buy vouchers.
