As per April 1, 2019, Meike Davids has been appointed as Data Protection Officer (DPO). She supervises the application and compliancy with privacy legislation and policies within the UT. As DPO, her duties include:
- advise and educate employees, students and researchers about privacy related issues;
- moniotor data processing within the UT to ensure it meets the statutory requirements;
- monitor reports on privacy breaches and report these, where necessary, to the Dutch Data Protection Authority and to the parties involved.
